In 2014, The Youth Mural Project was launched through the Harwood Art Center, as an after school program, to engage and facilitate creative output from middle school student artists. The program's basic impulse was to cultivate an open and engaged community for creating original artworks within a collaborative environment, while encouraging personal artistic development into large scale mural artworks. As lead artist, I teach basic to intermediate level painting techniques while inspiring students to design and produce their own imagery, palette and compositions.
The Summer Art Camp at Harwood Art Center is an integration of multi-age and levels of artistic ability, merging to create fun and engaging murals.
