Teaching young, aspiring talent is a great pleasure with many rewards - mainly having fun making Art.
The Harwood Art Center has been a primary facility that has worked with me to co-create opportunities for mural classes offered to Albuquerque based elementary and middle school students.

In 2014, The Youth Mural Project was launched thorugh the Harwood Art Center, as an after school program to engage and facilitate creative output from Middle school aged artists. The program's basic impulse was to cultivate an open and engaged community for creating original artworks within a colaborative environment, and to encourage personal development into large scale artworks. As lead artist, I integrated basic and intemediate level painting techniques while inspiring students to design and produce their own imagery, palette and compositions.

The Summer Art Camp at Harwood is an integration of all ages and levels of artistic ability, merging to create fun and engaging murals.
